Dicounts and Booking Details

PRICES, DISCOUNTS, ILA’s, BURSARIES & GRANTS Prices quoted in the programmes issued from time to time are per person and cover both tuition fees, use of facilities, demonstration materials, full residential shared accommodation and acclaimed cuisine.	If you're staying out, perhaps you require your own room, (our own accommodation is usually shared with one or two others) - there are some marvellous places in the area - some within walking distance. The farmhouse bed and breakfast charges are from about £20 per person per night. If you wish you can elect to have breakfast with us, in that case just book "bed". Please let us know what you have arranged.
We can help in a number of ways to reduce the cost of your workshops. Please read the following carefully and act quickly to avoid disappointment:
** take a massive 10%** discount, if paying in full up to 4 months (16 weeks) before the workshop commences (see booking form)

*** Block bookings of 3 or more on an individual workshop or as a series, deduct £20 per booking. (i.e. 3 = £60, 4 = £80 etc.)	*** Students, those receiving job seeker allowances and senior citizens needing financial assistance, are eligible for a 20% discount. Please supply reference.
*** There is an Artist in Residence scheme - six months plus at Duckspool working your passage to pay workshop fees, with free time to work on your own photography. Call for details.	* Occasionally special discounts are available, watch the press and our website (www.duckspool.com) or call for details. * Many colleges and companies also assist staff through career development grants. *** The Duckspool Education Trust may be able to help you.
We strongly recommend holiday type insurance to protect you for both travel and cancellation. You are advised to insure your photographic equipment.
BOOKING CONDITIONS 1. The booking form should be sent to Duckspool with a deposit of £90. The deposit must be paid before any booking can be accepted. 2. Credit Debit cards are accepted via secure links over the internet or by phone or fax. Cheques should be made payable to Photographers at Duckspool, and sent with the booking form (or copy) to: Duckspool Broomfield Bridgwater Somerset TA5 2EG. 3. The balance is due eight weeks before the workshop starts and this should be sent without waiting for a reminder from us. If we do not receive it when due, we reserve the right to offer the place to someone else. If you are claiming ILA funding please pay full amount, less other discounts if applicable, your ILA grant will be refunded on your attendance at the workshop. 4. Because of the nature of the premises and grounds, care must be taken at all times; no liability or responsibility is accepted by the organisers for any injury, accidental damage, loss, or expense sustained by course participants or others as a result of any event or circumstance, whether arising from natural cause, human agency, or otherwise. 5. The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the advertised programme.	CANCELLATIONS a. Notification up to eight weeks before the course, your deposit will be returned less a £20 administration charge. b. Notification from seven to four weeks before the course, 50% of the course fee paid will be refunded. c. Notification less than 28 days before the course, and non-arrival, the course fee paid is non-returnable.
