Previous Workshop synopsis:
Each participant will be asked to complete a reportage, choosing a portrait of a person,
group or place. They will shoot daily, edit collectively, and at the end of the week be
expected to give a presentation to the group in the form of book, magazine spread,
exhibition plan or audio/visual. The workshop emphasises process - moving from defining a
subject to finding a means of representation. It also reveals the working methods of
others and raises issues, both ethical and political, involved in photography and
production.
