Goldfield has been described as a polymath in the mould of Jonathan Miller – a degree in medicine, which he still practises, keeps his involvement in the sciences alive and
vibrant, reflecting in recent work, a deep concern for, and celebration of, man’s achievements.
Enormous canvas pieces, stunningly colourful and diverse from a distance, repay close inspection for detail that challenges expectation, and often amuse the intellect.

Like Miller, Goldfield’s first love is the Theatre, he once acted with Laurence Olivier and Nicol  Williamson!.
His production, acting and directing skills are now put to good use in hosting “Duckspool Workshops” and Personal Tuition, discussing both the mechanics and aesthetics of Photography in relation to art, with special regard to Goldfields’ expertise in the world of digital imaging, video multimedia and the WEB.
